THE SCHOOL GOES ABROAD

Within the scope of the Erasmus + program the school has taken part in an exchange with the Sotunki Upper Secondary School in Vantaa (Finland) and in a mobility with the High School in Trysil (Norway).

In both cases, 12 and 4 students respectively, together with two teachers, have been hosted by families with whom they have shared a week.

They have attended regular classes, and have verified what the educational methodologies, leisure activities, family life and, in general, the way of life in each of the destinations are like.

Both have been absolutely enriching experiences that will hopefully continue in the next mobilities planned within the Erasmus + program to Croatia, Latvia and Portugal.

To put it in the words of the students themselves:

“…. they made me feel like one more in the family. We have done a lot of things together…….

But this is not all, I have made a lot of new friends. In just one week we have shared a lot of experiences and good times. I will always remember it. I wish I could have spent the whole term with them.

It has been one of the best experiences in my life and now we are looking forward to welcoming them in Cadiz.”

My Erasmus week in Trysil was an eye opening experience. I’ve had the oportunity to learn not just things about Norway, its history and culture, but also I have learned other ways of thinking and looking at life from a different perspective. It has been a well-planned and profitable learning experiencefrom a different educational point of view .’

‘ I loved the experience and had so much fun. …. We got to know the culture from the inside and our host families were fantastic. I’m really looking forward to seeing them again’
